As the voice of Headgames, Downey Poteat brings a lifetime of performance experience, commanding stage presence, and a deep appreciation for the classic rock catalog that made Foreigner one of the world's most enduring bands. A Georgia native, Downey began singing in church as a child and was already performing with bands by the age of fifteen. His diverse musical background includes work with multiple tribute acts, original projects, vocal quartets, and years of ministry leadership in music. A former Drum Major and accomplished musician with roots in both percussion and French horn, Downey combines technical skill with authentic passion, delivering Foreigner's iconic vocals with power, precision, and heart. His commitment to excellence helps make every Headgames performance a memorable experience for audiences nationwide.

Lisa Kyle Smith

Backing Vocals

Lisa Kyle Smith brings world-class vocal talent and extraordinary versatility to Headgames. A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Voice Performance, Lisa is an award-winning opera singer, recording artist, actor, and performer whose career has taken her to stages and productions around the world. Her impressive background spans live theater, film, television, and concert performance, giving her a level of professionalism and musicianship that elevates every show. In addition to her vocal expertise, Lisa is an accomplished pianist and flutist, a trained meteorologist, and a member of Mensa. Her rich harmonies, stage presence, and dedication to excellence help recreate the signature vocal sound that Foreigner fans know and love.

Brian Williams

Guitar & Backing Vocals

Brian Williams serves as Headgames' guitarist, bringing decades of self-taught musicianship and a lifelong dedication to authentic rock performance. A songwriter and recording artist in his own right, Brian has spent years writing, recording, and performing original music while developing a versatile command of multiple instruments, including bass, mandolin, ukulele, and violin. His attention to detail and respect for the source material play a key role in Headgames' commitment to faithfully recreating Foreigner's legendary catalog. Todd Kline

With more than five decades of live performance experience, Todd Kline provides the solid musical foundation that drives the Headgames rhythm section. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Todd's extensive background includes years of performing across a wide variety of musical settings, developing the versatility and professionalism that define his playing today. In addition to bass, he is proficient on guitar, drums, and keyboards, giving him a broad understanding of ensemble performance and song construction. Andrew Doss

After years of formal piano study, Andrew expanded his experience through church music programs, live performance, and two decades of professional gigging with a wide range of bands throughout the Atlanta area. His diverse background includes work in numerous musical styles and performance environments, giving him the versatility required to faithfully reproduce the keyboard textures that are such a defining part of Foreigner's music. Equally comfortable behind the keys or contributing vocal harmonies, Andrew combines technical excellence with a passion for performance that helps bring the band's signature sound to life night after night.

Steve Smith

Drums

Steve Smith anchors Headgames with the energy, experience, and powerful groove that have defined his drumming career for decades. A product of Atlanta's rich music scene, Steve began playing drums at the age of ten and quickly developed a reputation as a dynamic and dependable performer. Throughout his career, he has shared stages with respected artists including Ed Roland of Collective Soul and Derek St. Holmes of the Ted Nugent Band, experiences that helped shape his musical instincts and commanding stage presence. Known for his consistency, drive, and deep understanding of classic rock, Steve delivers the rhythmic foundation that powers every Headgames performance.
